Workshop overview

You will organise a 5 day event to work closely with your customers. There will be one day of customer input and 4 days of building solutions with your team. The customer workshop was conceived in a technical product delivery team and the language i use in the course will sometimes reflect that, but skip over it if your business isn't tech.

You basically have a day to learn from your customers and 4 days to work on something for them. I will talk about "building solutions" but you should spend it solving your customer's problem. Whatever that is for your business.

One of the best outcomes from such a hands on workshop is that your customer gets to know you and you to get to know your customer but this isn't so easy to measure. If you manage to produce some tangible benefit to your customer by the end f the week everyone involved will feel like they really got something done.

The course is heavily based around the documents I provide. You should download them all in one go and as you go through the course modules, update the documents to better reflect the business you're in and the outcomes you want. Some of the documents should work for any business.

If you don't have Microsoft Office the files can be imported in to google docs for free.

The lessons are short and sweet. You should be able to get planning today for an event in 1 months time.
